Terms and Conditions

PERSONAL CANCELLATION

Make sure when you book your tickets you can attend the event. Tickets are for personal use only. Once you have booked your ticket, we won’t be able to cancel or exchange it. If you are no longer able to attend the event, you may re-sell your ticket for the face value of ticket

Tickets sold or being offered for sale for commercial gain or profit is strictly prohibited and we reserve the right to cancel such tickets without refund and/or refuse entry to the event.

EVENT CANCELLATION

If an event is cancelled by the organisers, we can only refund the face value of your tickets. We will do our best to contact you by email or on social media to advise of the cancellation.

Please be aware that it is your responsibility to check that the event is going ahead as advertised. If the event is cancelled, or the date is changed after you have booked, we will be more than happy to arrange a face value refund for you. Please note that this face value refund will NOT include your booking fee.

EVENT POSTPONMENT

 

If the event is postponed, the organisers will honour the ticket for the re-scheduled performance and is the responsibility of the ticket holder to make arrangements for the re-scheduled time/date.

 

EVENT ARRANGEMENTS

Should the event be postponed or cancelled, the organisers cannot be held liable for any additional costs you may incur for personal arrangements such as travel, accommodation, subsistence or any other associated service relating to the event.

TICKET CHECKING

 

As soon as you receive your tickets, please check that they are correct and exactly what you have ordered. If your tickets are not what you have ordered, please let us know immediately by contacting enquiries@orrell-live.co.uk

EVENT ADMISSION

Admission to the event is reserved by the organisers and the venue. They may want to conduct security searches (at their reasonable discretion) for safety reasons before allowing you admission to the event. Please be accommodating to such wishes, failing to do so could result in you being refused entry to the event.

Admission to an event is at all times subject to any terms, conditions or rules of the organisers. If you do not comply with any organiser terms, conditions or rules then the organiser may refuse admission or require you or other ticket holders to leave the venue and you will not be entitled to a refund.

ADMISSION REFUSAL

The organisers cannot refund tickets for anyone who is refused entry, or thrown out of a venue due to any of the following:

  • Late arrival, being or appearing to be underage (see notes below*) or declining to be searched.
  • Abusive, threatening, drunken or antisocial behaviour, which includes smoking in a no smoking area.
  • Carrying offensive weapons, illegal substances or making unauthorised audio, video or photographic recordings.

* The event has differing ages limits associated with tickets. Proof of age may be required to confirm you are eligible to enter on that specific ticket.

E-TICKETS/PRINT AT HOME

 

For this event a ticket will be provided that is downloaded and printed. Each ticket issued will carry a unique barcode that will permit entry of 1 person. Photocopying multiple versions is futile and may result in the entire party being refused entry.

TICKET USAGE

By ordering tickets you agree the tickets that you buy are for personal use by you and your party only. Purchasing tickets means that you agree that the tickets will not be resold at any point. If you do sell or attempt to resell your tickets at a higher price than you have purchased them for, the organisers may cancel any and all orders you hold with us without notice.

TICKET ALLOWANCE

When booking your gazebo pitch tickets you will notice a maximum number of packages (one) that you are allowed to book. If you order more tickets than the maximum stated, we reserve the right to cancel the order. The maximum package allowance applies per person, per card and per household. We implement a maximum package allowance in order to give everyone a fairer chance of getting tickets for the event.

WRISTBANDS

 

Entry to the venue requires a valid ticket to be exchanged for the appropriate wrist band, all ticket/wrist bands are strictly non-transferable. Proof of entry is being issued with allocated wristband upon production of ticket. Authorised personnel reserve the right to request that a person must show their wristband at any time when within the event.

 

REFUNDS

 

Where you are due a refund; the refund will be made to the original card used for purchase. This will normally show in your account 14-28 working days from the date of the refund being issued. If the card used has expired or you no longer have the account, we must wait for the refund to be rejected by the issuing bank. This will extend the timescale in getting the refund to you. Only when the refund has been rejected, can we then issue the refund to an alternative card. We may ask you for written confirmation that this new card belongs to you and you agree for the refund to be applied to it; failure to provide this confirmation will mean we cannot process a refund to you.

DATA PROTECTION

By placing an order you confirm that you understand that you are agreeing to being contacted by the event’s organiser with marketing information about tickets and events that may be of interest to you and other related information. If you do not wish to receive this information you will be able to opt out of any future marketing emails via unsubscribe links.

ALCOHOL

The importation of any alcohol into the event is allowed to persons over the age of 18, “Challenge 25” will be in operation during the event and ID will be required if asked by any authorised personnel. Admission to the Grounds will be denied if a person attempts to gain entry with alcohol if aged under 18.  The consumption of alcohol is permitted only in authorised areas.

PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

The following activities are prohibited and any person committing such an activity may be ejected and excluded from the event:

  • the throwing of any object/s anywhere within the event;
  • the use of foul or abusive language, obscene or indecent gestures or chanting, including threatening, abusive or insulting language directed to a person by reason of their colour, race, sexuality, nationality (including citizenship) or ethnic or national origins;
  • unauthorised entry into any area which spectators are not generally admitted;
  • unnecessary, annoying or dangerous behaviour likely to cause distress or nuisance of any kind and/or to interrupt the event;
  • the climbing onto or into staging, buildings, fences, walls, structures or fittings within the event;
  • the obstruction of paths, access ways, exits, entrances and stairways; or
  • the unauthorised use of promotional, commercial, political and religious printed matter, including but not limited to leaflets, banners, clothing, signs, symbols or other material.

 

PROHIBITED ITEMS

The following items are prohibited within the event:

  • Any objects or clothing bearing political statements or commercial identification intended for ambush marketing
  • BBQ’s
  • fireworks
  • flares
  • pyrotechnics
  • air horns
  • smoke canisters
  • laser pointers
  • cooking devices
  • any other articles or containers – including any which could or might be used as a weapon – or any other item which in the reasonable opinion of the organiser or Authorised personnel could be used as a weapon or cause nuisance to others

If any person is found with one of the above prohibited items, this item will be confiscated by Authorised personnel and the person may be ejected from the event or refused entry into the event. The item will be disposed of without compensation if the party declines to return the item to a safe place.

PHOTOGRAPHY

The use of photographic or recording equipment of any kind must not inconvenience any person. Except for persons authorised by the organisers, the taking of picture or sound recordings, or the transmitting of any audio, visual or any information or data or material in relation to an event by whatever means for commercial sale or use is strictly prohibited. Audio-visual equipment may be confiscated by Authorised personnel if commercial use or sale is suspected. The organisers own all intellectual property rights in material taken or recorded in the event, and copyright and moral rights in any unauthorised recording or transmissions is assigned to the organisers.

Filming, photography, and broadcasting may take place during the event. All persons at the event give their express consent to the use of their actual or simulated likeness and voice in connection with the production, exploitation, and advertising of the event without compensation or credit, throughout the world.

FOOD/DRINK

The importation of any food or beverages is allowed however “Challenge 25” will be in operation during the event and ID will be required if asked by any authorised personnel. Retailers authorised by the organisers will be available to purchase food and beverages within the event.

The organisers reserve the right to close bars at any time and restrict the sale or consumption of alcohol within the event.

MEDICAL CONDITIONS

People with medical conditions such as diabetes, food allergies and intolerances should contact the organisers prior to the event or have a doctor’s letter, prescription or medical card available upon request from authorised personnel. 

ANIMALS

No animals, other than assistance dogs, are allowed to enter the event.

ORGANISERS

The organisers reserve the right to fine and/or bring legal action and/or eject or cause to be ejected any person who, within the event, is considered by the organisers or Authorised personnel, in their absolute discretion, to be or to have been behaving in a manner likely to:

  • bring the organisers or event into disrepute;
  • interfere with the comfort, enjoyment or safety of other persons;
  • impede in any way the activities of the organisers or Authorised personnel;
  • be in breach of any one or more of the terms and conditions.

The organisers may, in its absolute discretion, bar from entry to the event, for any period, any person who has been refused entry, or ejected for breach of terms and conditions and may take such steps as they consider necessary or desirable for the implementation of the said bar.

The organisers reserve the right to make alterations to the published event programme were reasonably necessary.
